Håkon Chr. Tverrli

The first Hot Salsa Festival took place in October 2005 in Oslo, Norway. The festival is, and always has been, the biggest Cuban Salsa Festival in Scandinavia. Every year Hot Salsa Weekend presents 15-20 international and national top instructors which gives 50-60 dance classes in Salsa, Son, Rumba, Reggaeton, Rueda de Casino and other Cuban dances.  

The organizer of the congress, Håkon Christian Tverrli, has been the Festival Manager 2005-2009. The main sponsor of the event is Danseglede, the biggest dance school in Norway for Salsa and Cuban Dances.
