How to understand the workshop schedule?

About Salsa:

If you have never tried salsa before, start on the introduction level. A description of the levels are given below.

**) To participate at the Master level classes for domestic instructors and very high level salsa dancers, you have to send an application and be approved beforehand. These classes will be cancelled if not 16 participants apply beforehand.

About open level classes:

Blue classes like Rumba, Reggaeton, Son, Cha-cha-cha etc. no previous experience in the dances are required. The level will vary since the classes are open for everybody and some might find some of the classes difficult.

To participate in the blue salsa classes like Lady Styling, Men styling and Body Moves a minimum of basic salsa rhythm, steps and movements are required. Hence, we do not recommend these classes if you have not tried salsa before.

About Rueda de Casino:

Note that to start dancing Rueda de Casino you should have been dancing for about 6-12 months. The salsa rythm should be stable as well as the basic “Casino” step and “Di le que no” step. A description of the levels are given below.

The golden rules:

• Please respect the level of the classes. Find your own level in the table. If any doubt contact us beforehand or during the weekend and we will assist you finding your level.
• You are free to participate below your own level if you are polite to the once belonging on this level.
• You are NOT allowed to participate in classes above your own level. This will slow down the teaching and make others unhappy about the class.
• Follow the teacher’s instructions throughout the classes, also when it comes to changing of partners.

Green	Salsa Introduction	Never tried salsa before or just a little bit. Do NOT know the rhythm and steps well.
Green	Salsa Improver	2-6 months with salsa classes
Yellow	Salsa Intermediate	6-18 months with salsa classes. Good dancers.
Red	Salsa Advanced	18+ months with salsa classes. Very good dancers.
Black	Salsa Master	Salsa instructor level and very experienced dancers.
Blue	Open level	Salsa (Body Moves, Lady-, Men Styling): Basic rhythm, steps and movements required. Other dances: No experience required.

Rueda de Casino levels:

Yellow	Rueda Introduction	Minimum intermediate level salsa dancers and/or introduction classes in rueda de casino.
